Who We Are

St James’ is a friendly, welcoming church in the village of Westhead near Ormskirk, Lancashire.

Our vision is to serve our community, be a place where we can encounter Jesus and make Him known to others.

Our Church Community

Church life ranges from Sunday services, through small group meetings to personal spiritual disciplines such as prayer and Bible study.

 We are involved in a number of community initiatives, working as Christ in our community.

Life Events

As a Church of England Parish, it is a great privilege to be involved in supporting families through important life events, whether the start of a new marriage, the baptism of an infant, committing your life to Jesus Christ through confirmation, or the death of a loved one.
