St. James is linked to the local village community in a number of ways:

  •  Saturday morning is the time to visit St. James Church for a mid-morning cuppa and chat with friends old and new.

All are very welcome: cyclists, walkers, locals, parents and children!  See - Coffee and Chat on a Saturday

  • Thursday is the day for the younger people.  "Venture", the youth group for 7 - 12 year olds (years 3 to 8) meets every Thursday from 6:30pm to 7:45pm.
Come along to meet and make friends.  Bring your friends with you!
Details of breaks during holidays can be found in the "A Church Near You" page for St. James.

  • Further afield, St. James is part of Churches Together in Ormskirk and District, providing debt advice and foodbank services in Ormskirk and organising Street Pastors in the town.  See this page --> for details.

St. James also has links with:

- Westhead Lathom St. James Primary School

- Lathom St. James Playgroup

We would also recommend personal membership of 'Streetbank'. See -->.
